Athletics at St Mary's

St Mary’s High School is a member of the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA) and the Pioneer Valley Interscholastic Athletic Conference (PVIAC). They set the minimum standards for our athletics program. St Mary’s often sets standards higher than those required. You can access the MIAA Handbook here.

All students are encouraged to participate in our athletic teams regardless of talent level. St Mary’s High School has a no-cut policy for all of our programs. Some programs offer both Varsity and Junior Varsity Teams, so,  athletes that try out will be part of the program at the appropriate level. 

All coaches, school representatives, student-athletes, parents, and spectators are expected to display good sportsmanship at all times. Good sportsmanship is expected to be shown toward players and coaches of both teams and towards officials.
